Włodek suggests: A pleasant one-day trip can be had driving West from Corvallis to the Oregon coastline. Another one-day trip is
driving to Mt St Helen’s and back - there is an excellent tourist and information center there now.

world’s largest bookstore. The Washington Post calls it “ perhaps the best bookstore in the world.”
Most bookstores have thousands of book in stock, but Powell’s has over 3,500 sections, totalling over a million
new and used books! They also purchase thousands of used books every day from the public. A visit to Powell’s City
of Books will delight every bibliophile and student in your family.
