The Conference was held in one of the two large meeting rooms of the Holiday Inn Express in Brentwood, close to Nashville, Tennessee. The conference meals were served in the other large meeting room of the hotel. This eliminated the need for transportation between the hotel and the conference. Therefore attendees did not need to rent a car for the weekend, unless they planned on seeing the local sights in Nashville, such as these:

- Radnor Lake State Natural Area
The 1,200+ acre (4.45 km²) nature preserve lies in the heart of Nashville, unusual for a major American city. Four unpaved trails wander through the woods surrounding the lake, where hikers enjoy wilderness native to Middle Tennessee, including river otters, beavers, mink, muskrat, bobcat, coyote and the white-tailed deer. Located within Metropolitan Nashville (and only about 4 miles away from the HHC Hotel).- Fort Negley
