These tours follow the popular and successful trips to NIST after HHC 2009, and NIST & NOAA after HHC 2010 in Fort Collins.
These special tours are for HHC 2013 conference attendees only. These are not public tours.
NOAA and NIST share the same visitor center and parking facility in Boulder, which is convenient.

1000-1130 NOAA tour (fixed schedule)
1130-1300 Lunch at NIST cafeteria

When asked about our use of cameras, NIST sent the following information:Personal photography (and videotaping) is authorized in most areas of NIST. You will be escorted so that all your questions can be answered and make sure there are no issues. As a courtesy, before taking photos of people, such as NIST scientists in their labs, please ask permission.

Note: Although some roads in and around Boulder were closed due to the recent flooding, NIST and NOAA are accessible locally, and should accessible from all points by tour time.
